    Biography

    Ronasha is a part-time instructor in the Nursing & Allied Health Sciences at St. George’s University (SGU), where she has been a member of the academic community since 2021. Ronasha brings over a decade of professional experience in the nursing field, having earned my nursing degree in 2014, followed by a Bachelor of Science in 2018.

    In addition to her teaching role, she collaborates with the Vaughan A. Lewis Institute for Research & Innovation (VALIRI) as a field investigator in the CaSIDEC research study, “Impact of Overseas Travel on Cancer Care in SIDS of the Eastern Caribbean.” This five-year study explores how seeking cancer care abroad influences patient outcomes in small island developing states.

    Her research interests are rooted in advancing evidence-based nursing practice. Ronasha aspires to become a competent researcher, with goals of contributing to academic publications, engaging in peer review, and ultimately improving nursing care through high-quality research.
