    Biography

    Wendy Romain has been a full-time professor of psychology in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences since January 2008. Her specialization is Clinical Psychology.  While she has taught most of the courses on offer in the undergraduate psychology program, the main courses she is currently lecturing on fall under the umbrella of Experimental Psychology. These include Physiological Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Sensation & Perception, and Social Psychology. Dr. Romain’s doctoral thesis was on juveniles in conflict with the law, which she completed at Walden University. Other areas of research interest include the impact of play on brain development, cognition and aging, the intersection of cognition and AI, the effect of alcohol on cognition, and the importance of handwriting on brain memory and learning.
