    Widener University has joined with St. George’s University in an agreement to offer qualified students the opportunity to pursue a career in veterinary medicine at St. George’s University following successful completion of three years of preveterinary medicine at Widener University, allowing the students to obtain the BS/DVM degree.

    Enrolled students begin their studies at Widener University, completing three years of undergraduate study. After meeting the requirements for promotion, qualified students then proceed to Grenada to enter the first year of the St. George’s University Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.

    SUNY – Plattsburgh, New York

    Combined BS/DVM Program

    SUNY Plattsburgh has joined with St. George’s University to offer qualified students an opportunity to obtain a BS/DVM degree. Students will spend their final year of undergraduate studies at St. George’s University in the first year of the DVM program.

    Upon successful completion of the first year of the DVM program and after meeting all of the requirements for an undergraduate degree, students will be awarded their BS by SUNY Plattsburgh. Students will then complete their DVM degree program at St. George’s University.

    St. Francis College – Brooklyn, New York

    Combined BS/DVM Program

    St. Francis College has joined with St. George’s University to offer qualified students an opportunity to pursue a career in veterinary medicine at St. George’s University, following successful graduation with a four-year undergraduate degree at St. Francis College, allowing students to obtain the BS/DVM degree.
    The program will also be offered to students who have demonstrated academic excellence in their first three years at St. Francis College, and have met all prerequisites for entry into the veterinary degree program.

    Springfield College – Springfield, MA

    Combined BS/DVM Program

    Springfield College has joined with St. George’s University to offer qualified students a unique opportunity to pursue a career in medicine or veterinary medicine at SGU. Following successful completion of Springfield College’s pathway program, students may directly enter SGU’s 4-year MD or DVM program.

    The partnership establishes a “4+4” program, in which students spend four years at each institution. Students who wish to qualify must express their interest when they apply to Springfield College, where they will complete a four-year Bachelor of Science degree.

    Qualified MD students can opt to study year one of the Basic Sciences in Grenada or Northumbria University in the UK; year two of the Basic Sciences in Grenada; and the final two years of the MD program in clinical rotations at SGU’s affiliated hospitals in the US, Canada, and/or the UK.

    Qualified DVM students will be eligible to complete three years of study in Grenada and their final clinical year at one of SGU’s affiliated schools in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, or the Netherlands.

    Regis College has joined with St. George’s University to offer qualified students a unique opportunity to pursue a career in medicine or veterinary medicine at SGU. Following successful completion of Regis College’s pathway program and, after meeting the requirements for matriculation, students may directly enter SGU’s 4-year MD or DVM program.

    Qualified students who meet the standards of admission at SGU will progress into one of two pathways:

    1. 4+4 Program, MD and DVM
    2. 3+4 Program, MD only

    New Jersey Institute of Technology has joined with St. George’s University to offer qualified students a unique opportunity to pursue a career in medicine or veterinary medicine at SGU. Following successful completion of NJIT’s pathway program, and after meeting the requirements for matriculation, students can directly enter SGU’s 4-year MD or DVM program.

    Qualified students who meet the standards of admission at SGU will progress into one of two pathways:

    Students may enter a joint BS/DVM program offered by Monmouth University and St. George’s University. Qualified students are able to pursue a career in veterinary medicine at St. George’s University following successful completion of undergraduate study at Monmouth University.

    Qualified applicants successfully completing undergraduate study at Monmouth University and meeting the requirements for promotion are granted a pathway from their undergraduate degree to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

    Franklin Pierce University – Rindge, New Hampshire

    Combined BS/DVM Program

    Franklin Pierce University has joined with St. George’s University to offer students an opportunity to obtain a BS/ DVM degree. Qualified students are able to pursue a career in medicine at St. George’s University following successful completion of the preveterinary program and their bachelors degree at Franklin Pierce University.

    Applicants admitted to this combined degree program are granted a pathway from their undergraduate degree in biology or health sciences to a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. Students admitted to the pathway program complete their undergraduate degree in Biology or Health Sciences at Franklin Pierce in four years, and upon meeting established admission criteria, progress into the four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at SGU.

    Franklin Pierce University is a regionally accredited university grounded in the liberal arts, with a focus on personal attention and high-quality instruction.     Caldwell University – Caldwell, New Jersey

    Combined BS/DVM Program

    Caldwell College in Caldwell, NJ, has joined with St. George’s University to offer students an opportunity to obtain a BS/DVM degree. Qualified students are able to pursue a career in veterinary medicine at St. George’s University following successful completion of the preveterinary medical program at Caldwell College.

    Enrolled students will begin their studies at Caldwell College where they will spend the first three years in the preveterinary medical program. Qualified students will then proceed to Grenada to enter the first year of the St. George’s University Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.

    Upon successful completion of their first year at St. George’s University, students will fulfill the requirements for the Bachelor of Science in biology from Caldwell College. Qualified students are then eligible to complete the three remaining years of study at St. George’s University, leading to the completion of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

    Caldwell College is a Catholic, coeducational, four-year liberal arts institution.     The partnership establishes a “3+4” program that enables students to complete their undergraduate and graduate degrees in just seven years. Students who wish to qualify must express their interest when they apply to Beal University, where they will complete a three-year bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences.

    Qualified DVM students will be eligible to complete three years of study in Grenada and their final clinical year at SGU’s affiliated schools in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, or the Netherlands.

    The University of North Alabama – Florence, Alabama

    The University of North Alabama has joined with St. George’s University to offer qualified students an opportunity to pursue a career in medicine or veterinary medicine at St. George’s University, following successful completion of The University of North Alabama’s pathway program, allowing students to enter SGU’s 4-year MD or DVM program.

    The partnership establishes a “4+4” program, in which students spend four years at each institution. Students who wish to qualify must express their interest when they apply to The University of North Alabama, where they will complete a four-year BS degree.

    Qualified MD students will be eligible to study year one of the Basic Sciences in Grenada or Northumbria University in the UK, year two of the Basic Sciences in Grenada, and the final two years of this program in clinical rotations at SGU’s affiliated hospitals in the US, Canada and/or the UK.

    Trent University – Peterborough, Ontario

    Combined BS/DVM Program

    St. George’s University and Trent University offer qualified Trent undergraduates the opportunity to obtain direct admission to SGU’s Schools of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. To qualify, Trent University students must complete the Medical Professional Stream, a four-year program designed to guide students into careers in medicine and public health.

    Veterinary students spend their first three years studying in Grenada. They then complete their final year at one of the many veterinary schools throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Ireland affiliated with SGU. After sitting the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam, students can begin practicing in the United States or Canada.

    Trent’s Peterborough campus boasts award-winning architecture in a breathtaking natural setting on the banks of the Otonabee River, just 90 minutes from downtown Toronto, while the Durham GTA campus offers a close-knit community with an urban vibe, conveniently located in Oshawa, 40 minutes from downtown Toronto.

    St. Lawrence College – Ontario

    Combined BS /DVM Program

    St. Lawrence College has joined with St. George’s University to offer students an opportunity to obtain a BS/DVM degree. Qualified students are able to pursue a career in veterinary medicine at St. George’s University following successful completion of three years of study and a minimum of 90 credits at St. Lawrence College and meeting all other SGU eligibility criteria. Qualified students then proceed to Grenada to enter the first year of the St. George’s University Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program leading to the completion of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

    With three friendly campuses in Brockville, Cornwall, and Kingston, St. Lawrence College is an integral part of the economic life and social fabric of Eastern Ontario with a close-knit community of 7,000 full-time students, and more than 80,000 proud alumni.     St. George’s University and Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) offer qualified students the opportunity to pursue a career in veterinary medicine at SGU. Following successful graduation with a four-year undergraduate degree at KPU, students can advance to obtain the BS/DVM at SGU.

    Veterinary students will be eligible to complete the first three years of veterinary study in Grenada and their final clinical year at affiliated veterinary schools in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or Ireland.

    KPU, Canada’s only polytechnic university centered around hands-on skills in addition to traditional academics, currently offers a range of credentials, many of which are unique, to successfully meet the evolving needs of regional and global employment markets. Students have the opportunity to bridge certificate and diploma credentials into bachelor’s degrees, creating the option of academic and professional enhancement of applied and technical programs.
