In honor of Black History Month, SGU spoke to current students and graduates of the School of Medicine and School of Veterinary Medicine to learn what representation in their fields truly means to them. For Term 3 SVM student Brandt Peace, being a veterinarian means adaptability, communication, and skill. After working alongside SVM alumni and witnessing their professionalism firsthand, choosing SGU was an easy decision.
Today, he serves as a PAWS facilitator, @sgu_savma president-elect, and Peer Learning Group leader, continuing to grow in and beyond the classroom.
