Upon Arrival

As part of welcoming all new students we’ve organized an extensive orientation program. Formal reception on campus is arranged for all students. For students arriving by air, this includes reception and transportation to the campus from the airport. All students are encouraged to participate in walking tours of the campus and to familiarize themselves with the many recreational opportunities on campus.

A bazaar is held on the Sunday of Orientation week.  It provides a great opportunity to find out about and meet representatives of our varied student organizations, to sample some of the food available at local restaurants, and to watch some Grenadian cultural performances. Don’t miss it. Also, if you are accompanied by a significant other or children, the bazaar is a wonderful opportunity to connect with members of the Significant Others Organization (SOO), a very active and vibrant group. You should also check the SOO site for a wealth of valuable information for making the transition to Grenada with family. (sgusignificantothers.org)

Our hikes, waterfall visits, and other off-campus activities are a perfect time to introduce yourself to your new classmates. For those new to the island of Grenada, we hope you take advantage of our tours to different parts of the Island, as well as into the city of St. George’s.
