A Proud Moment in Your Life

“My wish for you is that you may all feel as I do after a lifetime—that the profession you’ve chosen is the best profession in the world.”

 – Aleen Cust, First Female Veterinarian Who Graduated in 1897.

Here, we will capture some of these moments of celebration—on social media, with photos, through stories. Show us how you are celebrating this important milestone by including the hashtag #SGUWCC on your posts. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces here at SGU!

About the Ceremony

All the virtual White Coat Ceremonies will broadcast live on this page, with recorded versions available later on YouTube.

Proud SGU Family and Friends

We thank all the family and friends who are supporting each student on their journey toward fulfilling their dream. Over the past few years, SGU has welcomed new students along with their families and friends to campus for Family Weekend, giving attendees an insider’s view of the island, its people, and our beautiful True Blue campus in Grenada. Our decision to move to a virtual ceremony was not taken lightly, but doing so will help ensure the safety of our students, their families, and the Grenadian community. Thank you for adapting to this virtual celebration and contributing to this special occasion in their life.

At SGU, we recognize the importance that parents and guardians play in a student’s life and we want to know more about you. We invite you to join our SGU Parents Group to assist parents of future SGU students, current students, and graduates.
