Kenneth Feldman, PhD, EdD

Executive Director

Dr. Kenneth J. Feldman was appointed as the Executive Director for Student Success in the School of Medicine in October 2017 where he is responsible for supporting exceptional student outcomes. He has oversight for the School of Medicine’s support team including the Office of Career Guidance, the On-Site Clinical Student Support Program, Academic Advising, and the Professional Career Program, as well as providing support to clinical advisors, the Graduation Assessment Board, and student wellness.

Dr. Feldman was most recently a Deputy Executive Director for NYC Health + Hospitals and oversaw the development of the mission and strategic plan for all Ambulatory Gotham Health sites in Brooklyn and Staten Island. Prior to his tenure at NYC Health + Hospitals, he was a Dean for SUNY Empire State College and is a current faculty member for Walden University’s School of Health Sciences, Ph.D. in Health Services program where he is also a Dissertation Chair and a subject matter expert for their Master of Healthcare Administration program. Dr. Feldman was also an Associate Professor at Stony Brook University where he developed the curriculum and instructed graduate courses in Ambulatory Care Administration, Fundamentals of Healthcare Management, Principles of Managed Care, The Business Aspects of Healthcare, Human Resource Management, Group Practice Administration, and Health Care Financial Management.

Dr. Feldman received his Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University, a Ph.D. from LaSalle University in Health Care Administration and an MPA in Healthcare Administration from Long Island University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives with certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt-Healthcare and Lean Breakthrough-Silver certification.
