Gemma Tyner, DACVIM, MRCVS
Dr. Gemma Tyner is Assistant Professor in the University’s Department of Large Animal Medicine and Surgery.
Prior to her tenure at St. George’s University, Dr. Tyner completed a large animal internal medicine residency at University of Pennsylvania, an internship in Equine Emergency and Critical Care, and spent a year in a mixed practice. Dr. Tyner, who grew up on a dairy farm, has a passion for food security in developing countries.
Dr. Taylor earned her DACVIM from University of Pennsylvania and her BVSc from University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort , in South Africa.
