Dr. Tessa St. Cyr is an education, HRD and performance management specialist. She is currently an Instructor within the Department of Public Health & Preventive Medicine at St. George’s University, Grenada. Her main teaching and research activities are centered on the concepts, practices and leadership in public health, the fundamentals of global health and community health, empowerment and culture.

In addition to teaching, Dr. St. Cyr functions as the Accreditation Coordinator for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program. This is an administrative role which manages the MPH program’s compliance with the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accreditation standards.

Dr. St. Cyr is actively involved in supporting several governmental entities that focus on various aspects of the public’s health and wellbeing. These include water and sewerage and solid waste management policies as well as advising on the implementation of health and public health initiatives/ projects.
