Assistant Dean of Basic Sciences for Preprofessional Programs

Dr. Rachael George-St. Bernard is assistant dean of basic sciences for preprofessional programs in the School of Medicine. She is responsible for providing support, direction, and supervision of students, faculty, and support staff in the preclinical sciences program. She also lends support in areas such as academic progress, professional standards, and examination integrity. 

Previously, Dr. George-St. Bernard held positions as clinical tutor—facilitating team-based learning with first-year students, and clinical instructor in which her responsibilities included the supervision and training of students and clinical tutors within the Department of Anatomical Sciences. 

Dr. George-St. Bernard earned her medical degree at Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas Santiago de Cuba. She is also a member of the Grenada Medical Association and the American Association of Clinical Anatomists.
