Dr. Richard Kabuusu is a Professor of Veterinary Clinical Pathology, in the Department of Pathobiology. His research interests include molecular and infectious disease epidemiology of wildlife including exotics, data management and analysis and ultrastructural pathology. His work has been published in a number of journals and he has presented at several conferences.
Dr. Kabuusu earned his BVM at Makerere University in 2000, and his MPH and PhD (fish pathology) at St. George’s University in 2002 and 2016, respectively. He is board-certified in veterinary clinical pathology by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists and in Public Health (CPH) by the National Board of Public Health Examiners. He is a member of the American Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathologists and American Public Health Association.
