BIOL 310 Ecological Research Methods

This course provides knowledge of the theory and application of the experimental methodology used in the design of ecological field studies and laboratory experiments. This course also includes topics on the selection of experimental methods and statistical analyses, tools, and equipment for the collection of data, as well as, relevant scientific writing skills required for the presentation of scientific information. Practical field and laboratory exercises will be used to reinforce the taught theoretical components of the course. The formal concepts introduced in this class will be presented by your lecturer and will be supplemented by group lab/class activities, and fieldwork.
